Vintage Component Germanium Fuzz

Custom order now!

Blacked out MK1 tonebender circuit. Tons of very rare stuff from the teardrop knobs to the germanium transistors inside. This one is a little different in that the gain knob reaches max gain around 25-30% and as you turn up from 50-100% you get a nice gated spitty fuzz.

Most components and wires salvaged from 50’s and 60’s tube radios. Let the vintage transistors, capacitors, and resistors massage your tone into a more classic vibe. Check out the video on instagram to see exactly what it sounds like.

None of my homemade pedals are battery powered. Always use center negative plug and isolated power supply. Never daisy chain power with other pedals. These vintage circuits (most famously, the fuzz face and rangemaster treble booster) use the positive side of the power supply for ground rather than the negative (like most modern pedals). Using pedals with negative ground on the same power supply as pedals with positive ground will cause most pedals to stop working and sometimes cause damage.
